The mysteries of the human body are many and wonderful. One of them is the LH i.e. Luteinizing hormone that is present at all times in the human body, but which rises in level when a woman reaches the middle of her menstrual cycle. During this period, this hormone is released by the pituary gland in larger quantities as compared to that at any other time during the cycle. This heavy release takes place for nearly 3 days, during which there are highest chances of the woman undergoing ovulation. In most of the cases, it has been observed that ovulation takes place in women 36 hours after the heavy release of hormone takes place. This release can be detected in the blood shortly after it takes place, while it takes a period of about 8 to 12 hours to be reflected in the urine. We present before you Ovulation Predictor tests. These tests have been reported to detect a rise in LH with a very high level of accuracy. This, in turn, would point towards ovulation.
